Mashrur Rahman
Software engineer. Founder of BrowseWell.
I build BrowseWell — a Chrome extension that blocks the distracting parts of websites without blocking the sites you need. It exists because every blocker I tried died the same way: it blocked a whole site, then work needed that site, so I disabled the blocker and never turned it back on.
Everything published here follows the same rules the product does: claims are verified against live sources before publishing, competitor comparisons tell you honestly when the other tool is the better fit, and nothing is written to shame you into focus. Site-specific guides are tested in a real browser — with BrowseWell configured on the actual site — before they ship, and re-tested when sites change.
I write about attention and environment design, not medical advice. If a page ever falls short of that bar, tell me.
